I don’t think he minds, so long as the boyfriend is “good enough”…? He says he’s neutral, but he made a long list of necessary qualifications.

You haven't been doing it wrong at all. Pink is a nice color to look at. But you make alot of pink stuff for him, so why not try something different, it all I'm saying..
